Nutrition

What we eat sets the foundation for how the body and mind operate. Key nutrients such as protein, healthy fat, vitamins, and minerals, are necessary for various metabolic pathways in the body that affect energy, mood, hormone balance, and blood sugar. In addition to fueling the body with healthy nutrients, identifying and minimizing certain food offenders is important to prevent them from hindering the body’s healing process. Individualized nutrition plans are discussed with each patient, catering to each unique set of health goals.

Intramuscular Nutrient Injections

Eating a healthy diet and optimizing digestion for maximum nutrient absorption is first and foremost in obtaining adequate nutrients. However, there are certain situations where the body’s requirements are higher than what can be effectively absorbed through the digestive system. Intramuscular nutrient injections are an excellent option in these scenarios, and the most common forms include Vitamin B12, B Complex, magnesium, and Vitamin D.

Lifestyle Counseling

Exercise, sleep, and stress-management all play a fundamental role in our health and quality of life. The most benefits arise from developing a realistic balance of movement, rest, and self-care that is sustainable over the long-term.

Lab Testing

Signs and symptoms are often suggestive of what is happening inside the body, but lab testing can be helpful for providing additional information, or for monitoring general health markers as a preventative measure prior to the onset of symptoms. Blood tests are available for standard health markers such as cholesterol, blood sugar, thyroid function, nutrient levels, inflammatory markers, and other testing as required. Additional functional lab testing for assessment of adrenal function, hormone levels, digestive health, food allergies, and environmental toxicity is also available as needed.
